The oldest symphony orchestra in France, the Orchester Pasdeloup celebrated its 160th anniversary in 2021. Under the impetus of its president Marianne Rivière, a violinist elected by the musicians, it performs an eclectic repertoire, ranging from great classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions, passing through musicals or new creations with jazz, cinema, body arts or multi-orchestras.

The Orchester Pasdeloup has hundreds of singers from the great choirs of Italian opera sing in a monumental concert.
Some of these choral pages took on political connotations: Va, pensiero, the song of the Hebrew prisoners in Babylon in Verdi's Nabucco, was interpreted at the time as a symbol of Italy under Austrian domination.
